The finder and the calculator
Your answers stay in your browser (session storage) so the results page and the quote form can show them. Nothing is sent to us until you submit a form. We use no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies.
A quote request
When you request quotes we collect your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, the rooms, size, existing floor, subfloor, installer preference and timing you chose, what you asked for help with, the material and finder answers you carried in, the page you were on, the time, your browser, and the exact consent text you agreed to. The purpose of the request is to be shared: we send it to participating flooring professionals and to partner networks that route requests to professionals, so they can contact you about the project you described. We keep a copy to answer questions about it and to honor the rights below. We do not sell it to anyone else.
A professional’s application
When a flooring professional applies we collect the company, contact, email, phone, ZIP, service radius, services, credentials and notes given, to evaluate and run the leads program. It is not shared with homeowners until a lead is matched.
How long
Requests are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Consent records are kept as long as the law requires us to be able to show them.
Your rights
Ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop sharing it: privacy@flooringappointment.com. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and we honor them for everyone. To stop calls or texts from a professional, tell the professional; each keeps its own list.
Who we are
Flooring Appointment, which shares an owner with FlooringFAQ.com. The two sites do not share your request data; FlooringFAQ takes no requests.
